AV Equipment Rental Catalogue for San Francisco Events

Use this catalogue when you already have a crew, need delivery and setup, or want to compare equipment before a quote. Westwave AV supplies event audio, displays, projectors, cameras, lighting, rigging, staging and scenic equipment across San Francisco and the Bay Area. Start with the category below, then use the specialist page for the room and equipment details.

Audio Equipment

Build the audio list from how many people need to speak, the room size and whether the system is for speech, playback or both. Browse speakers, wireless and wired microphones, and mixing consoles. The audio equipment overview explains how those parts work together for meetings, panels and conference rooms.

Displays, Projectors and Event Cameras

Choose the screen from the viewing distance, room light and content format. Browse flat-panel and LED displays, projectors and screens, and event cameras for IMAG, recording or a hybrid feed. The visual equipment overview helps compare projection with direct-view displays.

Lighting Fixtures and Control

Stage wash, uplighting and designed lighting need different fixtures, control and power. Browse specialty lighting equipment or use the lighting design guide when the room needs a plotted system rather than individual fixtures. Any overhead plan must also be checked against the venue’s rigging rules.

Camera Rentals for Event Capture

Event cameras can feed the room screens, a recorder or a remote audience. The right package depends on camera positions, operator count and whether the audience needs IMAG. Use the camera rental page for the equipment path. Recording and post-production are handled through our sister company, Luma Creative.

Rigging and Signal Support

Screens, lighting and flown audio may need venue-approved rigging, mounting hardware and a plan for cable paths. Start with rigging services and equipment. For playback, presentation files and room-to-room signal flow, see digital and presentation services. A remote audience is a production scope, covered separately in the hybrid event guide.

Staging and Speaker Support

Platform height, stairs, skirting, lecterns and confidence monitors are selected together because the speaker’s sightline affects the room screens. Browse custom staging options and speaker support equipment. If the stage must be designed around a full show, use the stage design service.

Set and Scenic Options

Pipe and drape, soft goods, branded backdrops and built scenery sit between rental equipment and a custom fabrication. Browse set design options or the wider scenic design service. We will separate reusable rental pieces from anything that must be designed and built for the event.

Choose equipment by the room and run of show

A rental list starts with the room, audience size, number of presenters, content format and schedule. You can book equipment for delivery only, add setup and testing, keep technicians on site, or ask Westwave AV to run the full production. Those are different scopes, and the quote should say which one you are buying.

Do you provide delivery, setup and pickup in San Francisco?

Yes. Equipment can be delivered and picked up, with setup and testing added when needed. If you want a technician to remain on site, that is quoted as crew rather than folded into the equipment list.

Can I rent equipment for a multi-day event?

Yes. Send the load-in, show and pickup dates so the quote reflects the full hold period and any crew days separately.

Can I rent equipment with or without a crew?

Yes. Choose equipment only, delivery and setup, on-site technicians, or full event production. We will state the scope clearly so a rental quote is not mistaken for a crewed production quote.

What information do you need to build the equipment list?

Send the venue and room, audience size, presenter count, content sources, event schedule and whether anyone joins remotely. A site visit is the next step when the room’s power, rigging, sightlines or internet affect the list.
