LED wall rental in San Francisco

Westwave AV plans LED video wall rentals for corporate events, conferences and product presentations. Start with the room and the content; the quote should cover the screen, its support system and the people needed to build and run it.

Before choosing a wall size

Bring a slide. Measure the front row.

A wall playing a brand video has a different job from one showing a detailed financial slide. Share a sample of the actual content and the distance to the nearest seats before choosing the panels.

Pixel pitch is the distance between adjacent LED pixels. A smaller pitch places the pixels closer together, which matters when people sit near the screen. Wall dimensions alone don’t tell you whether small text will be readable.

The screen also needs to fit the room. Its support structure takes space, and a flown wall depends on the venue’s rigging permissions. Work through those constraints before committing to a size.

For a smaller room, a flat-panel display may do the job. If projection fits the room and lighting, compare projectors and screens as well.

The build needs room too

Check access, support and power before load-in.

A screen can fit on a floorplan while its cases, support structure or build schedule don’t. Send the venue’s technical information with your brief.

Audience

Viewing distance and room light

Mark the front and back rows, the stage and any daylight reaching the screen. Review text-heavy content from the seats, rather than judging it only from the technician’s position.

Structure

Ground support or venue-approved rigging

A ground-supported wall needs space for its support system. A flown wall needs an approved rigging plan. Confirm the venue’s rules and who supplies the structure before the equipment order is finalized.

Discuss rigging and support requirements.

Access

Delivery and build time

Check loading access, elevators and the route into the room. The schedule needs time to assemble the wall, connect the system and test the content before rehearsal.

Signal

Power, playback and cameras

Confirm the available power and where the playback system will sit. If the wall appears on camera, test the camera and screen together before the show. Include any backup playback requirements in the brief.

Planning an outdoor event? Say so at the start. The equipment, support and weather plan need a separate assessment; an indoor package should not be assumed suitable.

The panels are one part of the rental

Compare the complete build, not just the screen price.

Ask what the quoted wall includes. A panel price is hard to compare with a package that also covers processing, support, delivery and technicians.

  • Screen: wall dimensions, pixel pitch and the resulting pixel dimensions for your content.
  • Build: support structure, venue requirements, power and cabling.
  • Schedule: delivery, setup, testing, rehearsal and removal.
  • Crew: who builds the wall, who handles playback and who stays during the event.

Westwave AV will confirm the proposed equipment and availability for your date. Panel models, sizes and crew are quoted for the job. If you already have a production team, explain which parts you need Westwave to handle.

Before you book

LED wall rental questions

Share your venue, event date and a sample presentation. A room plan helps establish where the wall and its support can go.

How much does an LED wall rental cost?

A useful quote needs the screen dimensions, event dates, venue access and crew requirements. Ask for the panels, processing, support, delivery and labor to be identified so you can compare the same scope. Send those details for a job-specific price.

Is an LED wall better than a TV or projector?

The choice depends on the room and what you need to show. A flat-panel display can suit a smaller audience; projection may suit a room with appropriate light control. Compare those options with an LED wall using the actual presentation and seating distances.

What size and pixel pitch do I need?

Start with the room dimensions, nearest audience position and content. Detailed text needs a different assessment from large graphics. Confirm the proposed wall’s pixel dimensions and test a sample before approving the equipment.

Can the wall be used outdoors?

Outdoor use needs equipment suitable for the conditions and a reviewed support, power and weather plan. Share the site and event details so the proposed system can be assessed before booking.

Does the rental include setup and an operator?

The quote should state both. Tell Westwave AV whether you need the wall built and tested, playback support throughout the show, or coordination with an existing production crew. Delivery and removal windows should be included too.
